An independent publication and creator shop

Why Is It Smoking is an independent entertainment publication and digital-product shop operated by WeldonPC. We explore strange science, internet culture, and the craft of making things. Our editorial voice is playful; the facts still have to earn their place.

Our editorial standards

Explainers link to their sources. We distinguish documented facts from commentary, identify historical imagery, and credit licensed editorial photography. We do not label old events as breaking news or manufacture popularity, quotes, testimonials, or celebrity rumors.

How the shop supports the site

Our shop sells original social templates, stream graphics, and creator tools. Editorial images are not included in those products. AI may assist with drafts or future assets; products are checked before sale. Purchasing does not buy editorial coverage.

Corrections, business, and support
